WELCOME TO PAGA CROCODILE POND GHANA One of my favorite tourist attraction spots We  wouldn't like you to miss when you are in Ghana, is the Paga Crocodile Pond in the Northern Region, Bolgatanga which is very close to the Burkina Faso border. This famous pond is filled with some of the biggest crocodiles in the world. According to history and some myth, one of the ancient crocodiles of this pond saved the life of the first man who settled in the area, by leading him to the pond to quench his thirst from a long journey. After that incident, the man declared the pond be sacred and the crocs should be treated as royals. Up till now it's a taboo to harm or kill these reptiles. It is believed that the oldest crocodile is about 85years old. Crocodiles are wild creatures but not the ones in Paga. Kintampo Water falls in GHANA

"       These  beautiful falls are hidden away in the woods close to Kumasi/Kintampo highway. The falls is only 4km away from the town on the Kintampo-Tamale highway. This is the point where the Pumpu river falls some seventy (70) metres down beautiful rocky steps to continue its journey towards the black Volta at Buipe. The Kintampo is shaped as a large staircase. Tourist and also country side people come around to have fun relax after hard time work. Mystic Stone

      Today, the Mystic Stone marks the place where Ibrahim prayed for and received the Koran and as we saw earlier, before Ibrahim the place of the Mystic Stone was also known to the Dhen Zuo as a holy place. It was known to the Dhen Zuo as "Zybgeni" or base of the mountain. It served as a shady resting place for those traveling the ancient trans-Sahara trade route and holds great significance for many reasons.
